great location but needs maintenance

The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea. The beachfront access provided us with a great spot to relax throughout our stay. The staff was accommodating and friendly, always ready to help us with our requests.

However, the upkeep of the property was disappointing.

The bathroom could use a refresh, making it feel a bit dated compared to the rest of the room.

stayed for three nights and wouldn’t recommend this place. WiFi only works in common areas—seriously? Also, the stairs to the beach are dangerously broken, almost went tumbling myself. I also expected a complimentary drink as a gesture of goodwill but got nothing. I almost called this a pleasant stay, but the issues made it impossible.

During my stay, the lack of hot water was a major inconvenience. I went days without any, and when it finally came, it dripped, making it impossible to shower properly. The overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, as I found dust everywhere and it felt quite neglected. Additionally, the noise from the nearby bar was unbearable at times, making it hard to enjoy the supposed tranquility of the beach.

However, the room lacked some essentials—broken mosquito nets and outdated decoration detracted from the overall experience. The hot water situation was inconsistent, making showers a hit or miss, and there were noticeable maintenance issues with broken wooden stairs leading to the beach. Additionally, the communication for getting from Cancun to this place was unclear, leaving us frustrated before we even arrived.

golden paradise beach was a gem! our double room with a partial sea view was comfy and just steps from the water. eric really made our stay special with a birthday surprise for my son. plus, the hammocks outside were perfect for chilling by the beach.

Beautiful Beachfront Retreat

The beachfront view was stunning and the private lounge area made our stay special. Although the bathroom could use some updates, the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made our one-night visit memorable. I recommend renting bikes for the ride to the center—it’s the perfect way to explore the island!
